I'm working on a new book bringing together a lot of my recent research, planned to come out with Intellect in 2026. I'll share more info as this develops. It focuses mainly on artists around the world making work in response to nuclear waste, and argues for a concept of future deep time as speculative ethical question for the present.
I'm making a new film Polymerized Flow Snag 2. This continues dialogues between personified fatbergs under the financial district of London. It works more with AI as visualisation tech and in its digital materiality. I will share screening details when this is done.
I've been busy this last term doing some great work with students at Chelsea. We made an exhibition Covered with Earth and Stamped Down as series of object burial rituals, following some underground research visits. We've started a new Radical Futurisms research group, and Sound in Small Spaces AKA Jammed Jam where we will take over tiny available space for noise making.
I just got a nice book in the post Mend, Blend, Attend: Advancing Artistic Research, which came out of the recent SAR conference. I wrote a short text in it based on a video I showed on underground relics threatening to come to the surface, 'there was a rumble, bass growl, pulsing soil...'
